With eight years of graduate work spanning biblical studies, Near Eastern history, and research in Semitic languages, plus ten seasons of excavation at a World Heritage archaeological site, I guess I could introduce myself as an archaeologist and translator of ancient texts. Art came later. When I'm not off somewhere pretending to be Indiana Jones, I enjoy teaching, writing, and illustrating novels. I work mostly in 3D, but I like to paint over the 3D to make it look 2D. There is no "why," there is only "what." I just like the way it looks, and I hope you do, too.
